JOB DESCRIPTION Production Assistant Summary The Production Administrator will have previous experience using computers and Windows based software. Performs clerical tasks such as data entry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prints process documents such as travelers, workorders, and manufacturing instructions Prints markers and labels for all parts moving through the manufacturing facility Assists production planner with data entry of newly release jobs into Access Database Create and prints barcodes from MI Status Coordinate & request special markers with offsite vendor Prioritize & expedite rush orders per the production schedule Interface and assist internal customers (the production staff) with Marker issues and replacements Assists with all/any projects as required Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Working knowledge of MRP systems (Oracle preferred) Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong attention to detail Excellent problem solving and analytical skills High sense of urgency and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal, written and organization skills Perform all other duties as assigned
